World AIDS Day, designated on 1 December every year since 1988.
The acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) is a life-threatening condition caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). The HIV virus attacks the immune system of the patient and reduces its resistance to other diseases.[2] Government and health officials, non-governmental organizations, and individuals around the world observe the day, often with education on AIDS prevention and control.
World AIDS Day was first conceived in August 1987 by James W. Bunn and Thomas Netter, two public information officers for the Global Programme on AIDS at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland. -

Scientific meeting on the Knee osteoarthritis at Al-Jalah Hospital – Benghazi, Libya (Activity of our Partner Eva Pharma).
Osteoarthritis, commonly known as wear-and-tear arthritis, is a condition in which the natural cushioning between joints — cartilage — wears away. When this happens, the bones of the joints rub more closely against one another with less of the shock-absorbing benefits of cartilage. The rubbing results in pain, swelling, stiffness, decreased ability to move and, sometimes, the formation of bone spurs.
The most common cause of osteoarthritis of the knee is age. However, several factors increase the risk of developing significant arthritis at an earlier age like Weight, Heredity, Gender, Athletics, and other illnesses like metabolic disorders, such as iron overload or excess growth hormone. -
